Armagetron Advanced is a clone of the classical game named Tron in 3D in which you drive a motorbike which leaves a trail after it, called wall, and your goal is to enclose your enemy into your trail, so it crashes into it. You can play against the computer or your friends using the multi-player option. The game features really poor graphics, and I really couldn't find any fun. Maybe you will. The program also allows you to customize the arena, and it offers multiple game modes and a wide variety of physics settings to teak for more advanced users. You control the motorbike by pressing the the Z and X keys and you can't either speed up nor slow down, only turn right or left. As walls never disappear, you'll have to be careful not to run into any of them. As Armagetron Advanced is fully customizable, you can change whatever you want about it. It supports Windows XP, Windows 2000, and there's a version for MacOS X and Linux. For those who like this kind of games, Armagetron Advanced can provide hours and hours of fun. |
